Assistant Project Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Project Manager in planning, organizing, and managing construction projects from start to finish.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Support the Project Manager in developing project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
  • Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
  • Collaborate with the project team to resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction.
  • Assist in the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery to the project site.
  • Participate in project meetings, providing updates on project status and addressing any concerns or questions.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of project quality control plans.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in project management or a related role in the construction industry.
  • Associate's or bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and industry standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with project stakeholders.
  • Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry.
