WORK HOURS:
Lobby & Drive-up Hours:
Monday-Friday: 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Saturday: 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Days off and schedule will vary according to business needs. Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
SUMMARY:
The Branch Manager is responsible for deepening current and developing new customer relationships through a needs-based approach. Coach and develop branch team while fostering a positive and inclusive environment to ensure personal commitment to exceeding customer expectations. Mitigate risk through planning, directing, and controlling bank operations, ensuring that established policies, procedures, and compliance requirements are consistently followed. Provide strong leadership, management, and direction to the Retail team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- With every customer interaction, provide personalized service that is unsurpassed by creating a compelling customer experience; ensure the same for retail team members.
- Support the bank by actively seeking opportunities to recommend bank products to new and existing customers 100% of the time; promote the bank through community involvement.
- Coach and inspire retail team members to achieve superior results; assist in monitoring of performance goals; celebrate individual and team success.
- Promote and monitor all training initiatives for retail personnel including monthly compliance training; evaluate performance of team members regularly and effectively document observations and discussions.
- Responsible for the operational integrity of the branch; follows all regulatory compliance, security and audit requirements; responsible for the implementation of system policies and procedures with regards to the Retail department.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Education - High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Experience - Four (4) plus years of sales, management, banking or related experience; Three (3) plus years branch management experience; extensive knowledge of retail products, policy, procedures, documentation and systems
- Other - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- Prior experience in developing and promoting a positive team environment.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills, and the willingness to be part of a team; proven customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Effective customer relationship building skills including ability to sell, cross sell and refer products.
