Position Overview
Support the customer service team with the printing, filing, charging, checking and distribution of customer orders. Ensure all paperwork is processed following UnitedDC (UDC) and/or Customer guidelines. Maintain strict verification process to ensure all paperwork is accurately reported, processed, and saved in a timely manner. The clerk is one of the most important parts of customer service reporting. (Hours are not inclusive, you may be asked to work overtime and weekend's to suit company needs)
Requirements:Essential Job Functions
- Revisions Paperwork for Customer Shipping Orders Sending BOL to customers
- Sending Container Reports to Customers (Market Clerk with back up of Baytown Clerk if out of office)
- Sending Shipping and Receiving Recap Fed-ex Shipments (Market for Dow Only)
- Scanning Customer Shipping Orders
- Reporting Plantgistix Packaging Supplies used and billing Miscellaneous Charges
- Filing all Paperwork
- Create new file folder labels for all customers for filing (Monthly)
- Removing all paperwork at end of month, putting in filing boxes for archiving (Monthly)
- Quality checking the CSD order before taking to shipping
- Communicating with the CSD for any issues Making sure labels are with the order before taking to shipping
- Answer and direct incoming call
