We are looking for a skilled and proactive Staff Accountant to join our team In this role, you will be responsible for managing accounting functions specific to property management, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting the overall financial operations of the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of property management accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks with precision. The Staff Accountant is responsible for the maintenance and integrity of the accounting records for multiple properties through financial statements preparation. Maintains contact with Controller, accounting team and company associates while observing utmost confidentiality and professionalism.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of accounting experience, with a focus on property management or real estate accounting preferred.
  • Strong understanding of property management accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of fair housing laws and property management regulations is a plus.
