Job Description Summary:


WESTECH’s Quality Manager will develop, implement, manage, and maintain a wide range of effective quality policies and procedures. This role will ensure compliance with the ISO 9001:2015 standard across the program. The Quality Manager oversees all aspects of compliance and will establish and effectively manage a system of internal processes that ensure all work is accomplished in compliance with appropriate standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage effective Quality policies and procedures complying with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001 as appropriate.
  • Prepare, maintain, enforce, and update Quality Control plans, ensuring performance is aligned with established standards.
  • Establish, maintain, and audit internal processes.
  • Demonstrate broad knowledge of Army logistical functions and establish a system to analyze, develop, evaluate, advise, and promote improvements in logistical programs.
  • Establish program objectives and performance goals, assessing progress, and implementing operational metrics/key indicators for process control and quality improvements.
  • Conduct root cause/corrective action analysis as necessary to enhance program efficiency.


General Duties:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of Quality.
  • Stay updated on industry-specific quality control practices and trends.
  • Provide guidance to program personnel on quality control practices and standards.


Requirements:


Minimum Requirements:

  • Must hold US Citizenship.
  • Three (3) years of experience in quality control in an industrial/technical environment.
  • Three (3) years of experience in administrative, professional, analytical, or other work related to ISO programs or operations.
  • Experience maintaining a quality management system in accordance with applicable ISO Standards.
  • ISO 9000 Lead Auditor qualification preferred.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Detailed understanding of application of ISO 9001:2015.
  • Broad knowledge of Army logistical functions to effectively analyze, develop, evaluate, and promote improvements in logistical programs.
  • Ability to establish program objectives, performance goals, and assess progress.
  • Strong leadership skills to guide teams and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Fluent in reading and writing English.
