This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. • You will serve as an IT Specialist (SYSADMIN/ INFOSEC) in the Systems Administration and Networking Division (N91), External Support Department (N9) at Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station, Pacific (NCTAMS PAC).
• You will coordinate a variety and complex and unusual security issues with Information Assurance Managers (IAM).
• You will monitor and evaluate systems' compliance with information assurance (IA) requirements.
• You will develop and maintain a comprehensive quality assurance program for diverse platforms that cover file back-up and recovery, equipment maintenance, and quality control of system processing and outputs.
• You will install and maintain software and hardware, control current visions and future releases of application software, and document the physical configuration of an information system.
• You will identify and anticipate servicer performance, availability, capacity or configuration problems.
• You will initiate corrective or preventative actions such as increasing disk or memory capacity to improve performance.
• You will develop and present training on the operation and maintenance of new systems to the IT staff.
