Job Summary:
The Machine Operator/Production Operator is responsible for operating powered industrial equipment, such as a walk-behind lift truck, and performing various tasks in a high-temperature manufacturing environment. This role involves working on a rotating 12-hour 2-2-3 schedule, with day and night shifts alternating every 8 weeks. Initial training will be conducted on the day shift.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate powered industrial equipment (e.g., walk-behind lift truck).
  • Follow safety, quality, and process engineering procedures.
  • Enter traceability information into the Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
  • Build, load, and unload furnace loads according to provided plans.
  • Perform level 1 autonomous maintenance on furnaces.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production targets.
  • Walk approximately 10,000+ steps per shift.

Qualifications:

  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to follow detailed procedures and safety protocols.
  • Physical ability to walk long distances and work in a high-temperature environment.
  • Willingness to work on a rotating schedule and switch between day and night shifts.

Schedule:

  • Rotating 12-hour 2-2-3 schedule (switching from days to nights every 8 weeks).
  • Initial training on day shift: Monday to Friday, 6 AM - 2:30 PM, for the first month.
