SUMMARY

The Donor Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for supporting diverse duties that relate to recruiting and retaining our donor base.
This position will ensure compliance with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies, standard documentation practices, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) regulations, and other Regulatory Guidance’s as applicable.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Utilize the Donor Recruitment Management software to log all donor recruitment activities and communication
  • Respond to new donor inquiries
  • Recruit and schedule donors for projects and routine donations
  • Follow-up with donors who have become inactive, investigate cause and encourage return to donation program
  • Assure donor satisfaction through regular follow-up with donors to compile feedback to improve donor experience
  • Provide accurate information to potential donors regarding procedures to be performed including safety/hazards of the procedures.
  • Maintain donor retention and recognition programs
  • Ensure and maintain an adequate supply of donor recruitment materials for use in assigned area.
  • Organize and participate in donor recruitment marketing events
  • Actively participate in the development of advertising and promotional products.
  • Participate in donor recruitment and marketing meetings
  • Actively participate in generating ideas for new donor sources.
  • Maintain an ongoing public and media relations program in assigned area.

TRAVEL

This position may require up to 5 % travel over the course of a year.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required. 
  • 2 years customer service experience and/or 1-year general office work preferred. Customer service background strongly preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Preferred

  • Certified in Phlebotomy from a National Organization, preferred. 

Other Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent customer service skills, self-motivated, self-starter, well organized and detail-oriented approach to tasks.
  • Proficiency in a variety of computer software programs including MS Office
  • Must have a pleasant phone voice and etiquette and project a professional demeanor, both in person and on the phone.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 5 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
