Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist - Free Standing Emergency Department
Overview: Join our dynamic team at our Free Standing Emergency Department (FSED) as an Ultrasound Technologist. Under the guidance of FSED Leadership, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality sonography services and, if certified, X-ray imaging. Your work will be instrumental in diagnosing and treating anatomic and physiologic disorders.
In addition to imaging duties, you will receive training in various patient care activities, including vital signs monitoring, EKGs, wound care, orthopedic splinting, and more. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, working under the supervision of Diagnostic Imaging Supervisors who will ensure your clinical skills, competencies, and quality assurance meet the highest standards.
We are seeking a professional who can communicate effectively, adhere to hospital policies, and embody our vision in every aspect of their work.
Available Shifts:
- Full-time, 36 hours per week, Variable Shift
Required Qualifications:
- Coursework/Training: Completion of an approved Ultrasound Technology Training Program
- Associate's Degree or higher from an accredited educational institution in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. (Equivalent education/experience may be considered)
- National Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography upon hire -or-
- National Registered Technologist - Sonography upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
Preferred Qualifications:
- Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire
- Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire
- 1-year experience in medical sonography as a registered or registry-eligible sonographer
Skills and Certifications:
- Completion of an approved Ultrasound Technology Training Program
- Associate's Degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- National Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography upon hire
- National Registered Technologist - Sonography upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
