SUMMARY
Contribute to a positive retail experience by managing all aspects of inventory. Receive merchandise, enter and track inventory into computer system, prepare and tag merchandise for sales floor, maintain stockroom organization, and fulfill online sales orders including gift cards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Receive all retail merchandise for the General Store and online sales.
Receive retail merchandise for the Deli as needed.
Complete proper paperwork, count items, balance to shipping tickets or invoices, check for consistency with purchase orders, and prepare merchandise for the sales floor in a timely manner.
Track order discrepancies, contact vendor for credit memos or replacement merchandise, and follow through.
Ensure invoices are accurate, coded, and submitted to accounting in a timely manner.
Update pricing in Point of Sale system as directed.
Remove any unnecessary packaging and tagging.
Ensure daily inventory maintenance in Point of Sale & Inventory systems.
Maintain sale inventory in excel spreadsheet.
Box and store sale merchandise.
Support the recycling program.
Communicate with General Store Staff daily on the day's deliveries and what is ready for the sales floor.
Manage stockroom and establish organized systems (sizing, counts etc).
Establish organization of stock which maximizes flow and efficiencies.
Coordinate inter-departmental transfers of stock.
Clean stockroom.
Support the General Store Manager in quarterly inventory for the General Store and online sales.
Organize and supervise quarterly inventory in stockroom.
Assist with input of quarterly inventory numbers into inventory system.
Assist with receiving merchandise for Deli and On-line Sales as needed.
Lead fulfillment of Online Sales orders.
Field inbound customer service inquires in the form of phone calls and emails within 24 hours of receipt.
Pack and Ship online sales transactions to meet Sundance standards.
Order and maintain shipping supplies.
Coordinate pick up through UPS/USPS/ or FedEx as established.
Assist General Store Manager in monitoring e-commerce site to add new products and remove sold out products ensuring guests have access to accurate stock information.
Attend weekly retail specific meetings.
ALL SUNDANCE REPRESENTATIVES ARE EXPECTED TO

ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITMENT

All employees are invited to participate in environmental or Sundance Preserve sponsored events.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Complete all applicable paperwork for the above responsibilities and submit to HR in a timely manner.
DRESS CODE
Sundance recognizes the impact that our image has on the guest's impression of the resort and the perception of our ability to provide professional service to our clientele. As representatives of Sundance all employees including mangers are expected to be in compliance with the Dress Code determined for his/her department as defined in the job description or follow the standards below.
In order to best promote a positive, professional image that meets Sundance guest's expectations, employees are required to dress in a professional, conservative fashion that is appropriate for their area. Please use the following as a minimum standard:
All aspects of the Personal Appearance policy (SPL#50) must be in compliance.
Employees are required to wear nametags at all times while on duty.
Clothing must be unwrinkled, clean, and in good condition (no rips, tears, or frays regardless of whether accidental or fashionably placed).
Blue jeans are permitted.
Men's shirts must be tucked in.
Appropriate skirt length is from the knee to the ankle.
A tailored fit is required of all clothing.
Tank tops, halter tops tube tops, and spaghetti straps are prohibited.
Sleeveless shirts are permitted for females.
Bare midriffs are prohibited.
Proper footwear for your department is required.
Dress sandals are permitted for females.
Flip flops are prohibited in all areas.
Tennis shoes are prohibited unless there is a business need (ie: Mtn. Ops.)
Fashion sneakers are allowed within department approved parameters.
Oversize, slogan tee shirts are prohibited.
Fashion shorts are allowed mid-thigh to knee, no short shorts or cut off jean shorts.
As with clothing, all footwear must be in clean, good condition.
No baseball hats.
If your department allows t-shirts, they must be in good condition and have appropriate Sundance logos.
If your department allows beanies, they must be in good condition and Sundance branded.
Employees working in retail outlets may wear t-shirts and caps that are sold in their area if no uniform is provided.
