THE INS AND OUTS OF THIS VET ASSISTANT JOB:

Schedule:

You'll have a full-time Monday through Friday schedule between 8 AM and 5 PM, plus weekends.

Day-to-Day:

As our Vet Assistant, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering compassionate care to our beloved animal companions. Your day will begin with warmly welcoming clients and their pets, ensuring their comfort throughout their visit. You'll expertly gather and document detailed medical histories, meticulously assisting in surgeries and performing vital dental and full-body radiographic procedures. Maintaining accurate medical records and researching treatment options for complex cases will be crucial elements of your day, all while fostering strong, trusting relationships with our clients. Your dedication will ensure the best possible outcomes for our furry friends, making each day both fulfilling and impactful

Qualifications:

  • Veterinary knowledge

Having 2 years of experience in a similar role or basic knowledge is preferred Experience with pocket pets is a bonus but not necessary. We are getting very busy, so having some understanding of assisting would be great. However, we're willing to train the right person with drive, motivation, empathy, compassion, and, most importantly, excellent customer service skills
