Job Title: Registered Nurse - Medical and Surgical

Job Summary: As a Registered Nurse in our Medical and Surgical Departments, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality care to patients. Your primary responsibility will be to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for individuals requiring medical and surgical interventions. This role requires a keen attention to detail, strong clinical acumen, and a dedication to ensuring patient safety and well-being throughout their healthcare journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and collaborate with the healthcare team to develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and procedures according to established protocols and physician orders.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions and modify care plans as needed.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, ensuring they understand the treatment plan and recovery process.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, adhering to documentation standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, ensuring seamless transitions between departments and services.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to best practices in healthcare delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Registered Nurse license in Texas.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Minimum 1 of experience in Medical and Surgical nursing.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining professional development and staying abreast of industry advancements.
