DO YOU ALIGN WITH THESE KEY QUALIFICATIONS?
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 10 to 15 years of Infrastructure experience
  • 1 to 3 years of virtual infrastructure experience
Knowledge in the following preferred:
  • Virtualization Technologies using VMware/Nutanix/Hyper V (MS suite)
  • Design and configuration of converged infrastructure
  • Cluster experience (SLES, RH)
  • Vcenter or Nutanix tools
  • Storage Technologies using Dell/EMC and Netapp
  • Dell/EMC and Netapp replication technologies
  • Protocols including CIFS, NFS, iSCSI, FC
  • Cisco Networking Products
  • Networking technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, Routing Protocols, Switching
  • Cisco UCS Servers
  • VMWare Hypervisor as well as some UCS bare-metal)
  • Knowledge and use of containerization platforms
  • Experience documenting environments, runbooks, etc.
  • Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and automation technologies
  • Infrastructure as Code platforms: Terraform, Packer, Azure Resource Manager/CloudFormation templates
  • Enterprise service bus platforms
WHAT DOES SUCCESS LOOK LIKE?As a Senior Linux Administrator, you will be responsible for Linux operational support, troubleshooting, maintenance, upgrades and expansion, and on-call rotation. You will provide support to provisioning/operational staff, as well as work closely with the architecture group in design support and validation of new designs and installations. WHAT WILL YOU DO?
  • Provide direction and advice pertaining to capacity planning, future installations, and design
  • Direct automation and future use of Linux environments (Tanium, Orchestrator, automation suites)
  • Configuration management utilizing Ansible, SaltStack, Puppet, Chef, Desired State Configuration (DSC)
  • Scripting languages (PowerShell, bash, python)
