Position Summary:

Under the direction of the HIAP Program Director plan, direct and coordinate outreach activates designed to raise program awareness and maintain community relationship


Responsibilities;

  • attend all trainings required by the local departments of social services and NYS DOH
  • attend additional trainings specific to aged, blind an disabled
  • conduct and participate in outreach events to straighten community relationships and provide education regarding government-sponsored health insurance
  • travel to partner locations to maintain relationships
  • provide referrals to other agencies if required
  • collect and report data to the director
  • other duties as assigned


Minimum Qualifications

  • ability to handle confidential information according to JPA policies and procedures
  • ability to provide exceptional customer service
  • be a team player willing to assist when needed
