Our growing insurance team is in need of a bilingual English/Spanish, positive, organized office assistant. You’ll take phone calls, respond to emails, and direct customer inquiries to the appropriate team member. Other job duties include organizing files and setting up appointments, so we can process claims quickly and provide clients with the coverage they need. Compensation:

$40,000 yearly

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure customers are satisfied by promptly answering phone calls and emails and sending customers with specific inquiries to the appropriate department
  • Input current customer information into the database regularly so it is readily available
  • Schedule appointments, events, and travel arrangements for the company
  • Buy materials for the office when supplies run low and schedule maintenance for office equipment, when necessary

  • Work with online enrollment systems to verify employee enrollments and terminations are properly processed
  • Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
Qualifications:
  • Has a history of superb problem-solving skills, organizational skills, and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Solid computer skills, including basic word-processing and Microsoft Excel
  • Experience completing data entry assignments
  • 2+ years work experience in administrative support, customer service, or insurance industry is preferred
  • Must have high school diploma or GED, some college experience preferred
