Position Purpose & Summary


Strata Med located at Garden of The Gods Resort and Club, is looking for an experienced Echo Technologist to join our fast-paced, innovative, clinical services team In this role, you will provide on-site transthoracic echocardiograms to patients in partnership with our clients. Strata Med provides a unique opportunity to our patients with our integrated wellness approach to care. We are looking for an individual to work with us approximately 1 day per week.


Additional Duties and Responsibilities


  • Delivering direct patient care with top-of-scope ultrasound procedures
  • Embracing a team approach for exceptional outcomes
  • Conduct patient history reviews, manage scheduling, and educate patients on procedures.
  • Monitor patient conditions, adjust imaging parameters for optimal results, and manage contrast media/medications as needed.
  • Uphold safety standards, perform equipment QC, troubleshoot malfunctions, and execute imaging procedures with precision.
  • Enhancing skills through mentoring and embracing new knowledge in a fast-paced setting
  • Ensuring safety and quality at every point of care

Position Requirements


  • Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound program
  • Required certifications:
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) - Adult (AE) from ARDMS or equivalent
  • Vascular Technologist (RVT) from ARDMS or equivalent
  • Advanced certifications a plus
  • A minimum of 2 years related experience
  • Must be a registered sonographer
  • BLS certified through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer
  • Certification must be obtained before the start date and remain valid for at least sixty days post-hire
