Job Description:

As a Dental Compliance Manager, you will oversee and manage the compliance program of our
dental practice, ensuring that all operations and business activities are performed with the
highest ethical standards and comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements. You will
be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining an effective compliance program
that covers all aspects of dental operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive compliance policies and procedures for the dental
    practice.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and industry
    standards.
  • Train and educate staff on compliance issues, policies, and the importance of maintaining a
    compliant and ethical work environment.
  • Monitor compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, OSHA, and state dental
    board regulations.
  • Investigate and resolve compliance issues, concerns, or violations and implement corrective
    actions.
  • Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that affect the dental industry and adapt
    compliance strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with management and other departments to integrate compliance controls into the
    overall business processes of the organization.
  • Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management and relevant external bodies.
  • Serve as the point of contact for external audits and inspections and coordinate the
    organization's responses.
  • Manage and oversee the compliance department, ensuring effective performance and
    professional development of staff.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Law, Business Administration, or a related
    field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a compliance role within the healthcare sector, preferably in a dental
    setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of dental healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certification in healthcare compliance (e.g., CHC, CHPC) is preferred.
