Marketing Communications Manager

Mutual of Omaha Mortgage is seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Communications Manager to join our team. As a Marketing Communications Manager, you will report to the Director of Marketing and play a crucial role in developing and implementing effective marketing strategies to promote our mortgage products and services. We are looking for a creative thinker with a passion for innovation and a proven track record of driving successful marketing campaigns.

Roles & Responsibilities: 

  • Partner with SEO to develop content strategy, elevating organic search ranking and owning written content production.
  • Collaborate with digital marketing teams on the design, testing, and execution of email marketing and marketing automation campaigns.
  • Review and troubleshoot technical issues related to marketing automation programs.
  • Monitor and analyze content performance using analytics tools to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage content calendar, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality content.
  • Create high-quality, engaging, and optimized content across various channels including but not limited to blog posts, websites, whitepapers, case studies, videos, infographics, and social media posts. Less than 20% of role.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including compliance, brand, and sales to ensure content is compliant and aligned with overall marketing initiatives.
  • Oversee the response to, and escalation of, online reviews across channels.
  • Analyze online reputation data, including sentiment analysis, brand awareness, and competitor benchmarking. Generate regular reports that inform strategic decision-making.
  • In collaboration with the Director of Marketing, develop and lead ORM strategy: Craft a data-driven online reputation management strategy, aligning it with broader marketing and business objectives.
  • Assist the Director of Marketing with implementing the rollout of proprietary programs, with the planning and execution of trade show participation, and managing email campaigns and automation.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously innovate and enhance our approach.
Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in B2C and B2B marketing communications or a similar role.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with web content and WordPress.
  • Knowledge & Experience in utilizing multiple email platforms and CRMs, such as Eloqua, Marketo, Active Campaign, and Salesforce.
  • Demonstrated experience in assisting with implementing a new email platform, including but not limited to assisting with data migration and validation.
  • Experience in the mortgage industry a plus.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing marketing campaigns and projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for developing innovative marketing strategies.
