MIND 24-7 is an Arizona-based company that is fundamentally changing delivery of behavioral health care by offering accessible and immediate walk-in mental health facilities that are open 24 hours a day. Services provided include Psych Express Care (2-3 hour intervention), Psych Crisis Care, and Psych Progressions (Outpatient Therapist Services). MIND 24-7 not only enhances the quality of patient care, but reduces pressure on the mental health system, reducing costly emergency room visits, in-patient treatment, and readmissions for crisis care. In the first year, with now over 450 team members, the company has opened three facilities in the Greater Phoenix are and has served over 10,000 individuals in need of care. Immediate rapid expansion into additional states is planned for the coming year.

MIND 24-7 is an open door to mental health with care around the clock. We have experienced phenomenal growth and are moving into the next year with a very aggressive expansion plan. The Progressions Outpatient Coordinator is responsible for providing comprehensive support to the Progressions Care Team and Progressions Service Line. This dynamic position requires the ability to anticipate needs, think critically, and offer solutions to problems with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Act as an upstanding ambassador for the Progressions Program by greeting and welcoming incoming patients, community members and outside patrons.
  • Register incoming patients into the electronic health record and verify insurance.
  • Assists in the intake and discharge process for patients.
  • Assists in the involuntary process of Title 36, as needed for patients.
  • Coordinate the schedule of outpatient visits ensuring accurate patient contact information is obtained, as well as ensuring appropriate date and time for visit given.
  • Coordinate the schedule of Progressions Navigators and Therapists ensuring accuracy in office assignments and verifying appointment time and date.
  • Prioritize inquiries and requests while troubleshooting conflicts; make judgements and recommendations to ensure smooth day-to-day engagements.
  • Assist in preparation of scheduled required reporting.
  • Develop and maintain site specific filing system including, but not limited to clinical oversight, clinical supervision, etc.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external patrons on all matters, including those of a highly confidential or critical nature.
  • Liaise with executive and senior administrative assistants to handle requests and queries for Progressions Care Team.
  • Provide hospitality to all guests and help to create a welcoming environment.
  • Answer phone lines and respond to inquiries.
  • Liaise with facilities to receive deliverables and distribute items accordingly.
  • Other projects/duties as assigned for overall benefit of the site.
  • Will attend supervision sessions as required.
  • Will complete all other required trainings as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
    • Medical Assistant Certification from accredited program with minimum of three (3) years' experience.
    • Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office.
    • Previous experience in Medical Scheduling
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Exceptional organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • High degree of professionalism in dealing with diverse groups of people, including senior executives, leadership team members, staff, community leaders, internal and external clients
    • Make appropriate, informed decisions regarding priorities and available time.
    • Ability to complete a high volume of tasks and projects with little or no guidance.
    • Ability to reach with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events that require quick response and turnaround.
    • Able to maintain a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
