Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Coordination:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the Logistics Specialist team.
  • Coordinate all logistics activities, ensuring a collaborative and efficient workflow.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to communicate goals and expectations.

2. Shipping and Receiving:

  • Execute and supervise outbound and inbound shipments for accuracy and timeliness.
  • Collaborate with carriers and vendors to optimize logistics processes.
  • Implement and enforce proper packaging and handling procedures.

3. Inventory Control Management:

  • Take a lead role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and full inventory audits.
  • Implement strategic measures to minimize shrinkage and improve overall inventory accuracy.

4. Backstock Optimization:

  • Develop and implement strategies for efficient backstock management.
  • Collaborate with the team to optimize warehouse space and organization.

5. Triage:

  • Oversee the inspection of incoming goods for quality and quantity.
  • Prioritize and classify incoming items based on urgency and storage requirements.
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to address and resolve issues with incoming shipments.

6. Restock:

  • Execute and supervise the timely and accurate restocking of products on the sales floor.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product placement and merchandising requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor sales trends to anticipate and fulfill restocking needs.

7. Opening and Closing Procedures:

  • Responsible for opening and closing the shop according to scheduled hours.
  • Ensure all security and safety protocols are followed during opening and closing procedures.
Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a logistics or supply chain supervisory role is a plus.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of inventory control best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficient in using logistics management software and MS Office suite.
