Responsibilities for Application Project Manager:

  • Lead software development projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets to effectively manage project resources and achieve project objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Define and manage project schedules, timelines, and deliverables, and communicate progress and issues to stakeholders.
  • Gather user requirements and create functional requirements documents.
  • Report project progress to management and stakeholders.
  • Identify and manage project risks and issues and develop and execute contingency plans as necessary.
  • Ensure project documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, maintaining effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and team members.
  • Continuously improve project management processes and methodologies.
Requirements:

Qualifications for Application Project Manager:

  • 2+ years of project management experience in software and mobile application development.
  • Prior IoT experience (preferred)
  • Understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience using project management tools, such as JIRA or Monday.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, or equivalent field required. (preferred)
  • PMP, CSM, SAFe (preferred)
