Looking for a seasoned Wind Turbine Technician or Turbine Construction Advisor to help with the installation and/or repowers of wind turbines in the United States.


  • Demonstrate a passion for safety and service excellence.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical background preferred.
  • Strong understanding of GE policies and procedures.
  • Strong understanding of GE Installation documents
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
  • Ability to read and understand basic diagrams and wiring schematics.
  • Ability to understand and explain the Install manual.
  • Ability and willingness to take initiative and work without direct supervision.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to a dynamic environment.
  • Effective communicator– works well in teams.
  • Ability to professionally interact with customers and coworkers daily.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to assure product quality and conformance.
  • Perform onsite audits of procedures and field processes and drive change as necessary.
  • Demonstrate safety and quality as a top priority and make sure other team members, Owner/Client Representatives, subcontractors, vendors, and management are following the safety policies.
  • Train and instruct crew members in safe work practices for the assigned tasks.
  • Demonstrate expert-level skills in areas of expertise.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

· Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

  • High School Diploma / GED and associate degree in a Technical Mechanical or Wind Energy discipline from an accredited college or wind technical school OR equivalent experience
  • Training will include and must successfully complete:
    • Basic Safety Training (e.g., First Aid, CPR, Fall Protection)
    • Tower Safety Training (e.g., High-angle rescue or wind tower rescue)
    • Technical Training (e.g., Mech., Elec., Hydraulic)
  • Pass Background Check and Drug Screening
  • Follow all assigned Environmental, Health, and Safety procedures.
  • Perform basic mechanical installations, maintenance, operations, and upgrades.
  • Verify that the work is completed in compliance with the customer’s requirements.
  • Repair or replace parts.
  • Possess knowledge about specific activity tools and be able to use them safely.
  • Occasionally work independently on a component as part of an equipment maintenance project.
  • Dismantle and assemble basic machinery, components, equipment, or tooling.
  • Travel as required (up to 90%)
  • Ability and willingness to work holidays, weekends, nights, and overtime as required by field assignments.
  • Ability and willingness to work at heights and in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to provide guidance to contractors.
