The Community:

The maintenance staff work two properties that are across the street from each other

  • Villa Anita I Apartments is a two-story, 190-unit Garden-style Community built in 1976 and renovated in 2015, located at: 5757 Guhn Rd, Houston, TX 77040
  • Villa Anita II is a two-story, 108-unit Garden-style community built in 1973 and renovated in 2016, located at 8103 W Grow Ln, Houston, TX 77040


The Company:

SI Communities, LLC currently owns and operates 12 communities in the Greater Houston area. We chose to bring management in-house in January, 2020 in order to ensure our employees and residents were well cared for. We are a growing company with advancement opportunities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates and promotes a 100% commitment to providing the best possible experience for our residents and employees.
  • Organize, prioritize and ensure service requests and repairs are made correctly and in timely manner
  • Inspect grounds, buildings, and other community features daily to minimize liability concerns and ensure excellent curb appeal at all times
  • Oversee turnkey operations; ensure vacant units are made rent-ready in a timely manner
  • Preform turnkey work as required and ensure all make-readies are inspected.
  • Adhere to the Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Respond and resolve on-call emergency maintenance issues during on-call rotation


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Should have direct knowledge of boilers, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, painting/sheetrock, floor covering/tile,
  • Must be HVAC EPA certified
  • Required to be on call as necessary.
  • Knowledge with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices and procedures.
