Purpose:

The purpose of this position is to support our fleet of mobile production trucks and studios with maintenance and assist with various projects. Project may include wiring, upgrades, installing equipment, and event preparation.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Wire and connector additions to a broadcast system including, Coax, RJ45, Serial, Fiber
  • Lace racks and wire electronic jack fields,
  • Work with the internal support team to accomplish upgrades and solve problems
  • Provide insight and assistance to create and execute an upgrade plan for a broadcast system
  • Provide technical support for NEP broadcast network systems throughout the mobile fleet

Position Requirements:

  • Technical or Associates degree in Broadcast, Electronics, or a combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving skills
  • A self-starter who is motivated to get the job done
  • Ability to read technical documentation and schematics
  • Experience with Windows and Mac computers including EXCEL
  • Demonstrates the ability to multi-task several priorities and possess solid time management skills.
  • Collaborate with managers, engineers, and clients on projects
  • Prior experience in the broadcast television industry is a plus.
  • Experience in Systems integration, wiring, labels, fabricating cables, and connectoring
  • Must be willing and able to travel, as necessary.
