Job Summary:
  • The Accounts Payable Associate is primarily responsible for managing vendor master data, travel and entertainment expenses, and ensuring the accuracy of financial information within the company's systems. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures, as well as excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Job Duties:
  • Vendor Master Data Management: This includes creating, updating, and maintaining accurate vendor information, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Travel and Entertainment Expense Processing: Processing expense reports, auditing for compliance, and managing corporate card limits.
  • Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities to streamline processes and increase efficiency within the accounts payable department.
  • Customer Service: Providing support to both internal and external stakeholders regarding vendor and expense-related inquiries.
  • Team Collaboration: Participating in team meetings, training new hires, and supporting colleagues on escalated issues.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma with accounting coursework or associate degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of accounts payable experience.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
