Job DescriptionJob Description

Stellar has an immediate opening for a General Foreman with for a food processing facility project in Perry, Ga.

Reporting to the Superintendent, the General Foreman is responsible for:

  • Planning, coordinating, and supervising multiple work crews and all assigned employees on those teams
  • Ensuring all work is well-planned, supplied and executed safely and efficiently
  • Creating daily reports, tracking progress, time submission and other administrative duties as required to accurately track performance and progress

DUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 10+ years of experience, including 5 years as a Supervisor
  • Food Processing Plant experience is a major plus
  • Experience with UG DWV systems and competent skills in Trenching and Shoring
  • OSHA 30

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Ability to interpret drawings and lay out field piping
  • Lead and manage the work of multiple work crews
  • Experience with Leica equipment preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Strong problem solving, communication and organizational skills
