About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Infrastructure Program Manager to play a pivotal role in building and executing our disaster recovery (DR) program. You will partner with engineering teams across Infrastructure and Application Development to ensure alignment and visibility of critical DR initiatives. You'll leverage your program management expertise to create a comprehensive plan, break down program goals into actionable milestones, and track progress towards successful DR implementation.


Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Infrastructure and Application Development leaders to define the scope, prioritize work, and build alignment across teams for strategic DR initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive program plan, including a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) outlining activities, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Facilitate agile planning practices using Jira Align and Jira to build Epics and Features for DR program execution.
  • Foster strong communication across engineering teams, translating technical details for leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Manage dependencies, resolve conflicts, and negotiate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Track program progress, analyze data, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Proactively manage risks and ensure clear communication of potential roadblocks to ensure successful program delivery.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • 3-5 years of program management/release management experience in technology, with a focus on IT infrastructure or disaster recovery is a plus.
  • Proven experience using agile/scrum methodologies (e.g., Jira Align, Jira).
  • Strong understanding of program management principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate effectively within a cross-functional environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity.
  • Experience coordinating work across multiple teams (ideally 5+ Infrastructure and/or App Dev teams).
  • Excellent organizational and facilitation skills.


Nice to Haves:

  • Experience specifically in Network Program Management.
  • Experience managing Disaster Recovery planning efforts and documentation.
  • Certified Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Product Owner/Product Manager or Scrum Master experience.
  • Knowledge of Change/Release Management frameworks and best practices.
