Duties:

As an Assistant Community Director, you will report to the Community Director and be responsible for the following:

  • Converting telephone and walk-in prospects to leases.
  • Qualifying and completing applicant information to maintain and increase occupancy.
  • Effectively communicating with existing residents and establishing a successful renewal program.
  • Assisting the Community Director with the coordination of day-to-day activities.
  • Maintaining office clerical, filing, and record-keeping systems.
  • Identifying and striving to meet the resident's needs.

Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in managing/leasing multi-family properties.
  • OneSite experience is a plus.
  • Great verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding focus on customer service.
  • Ability to handle all basic office tasks (typing, filing, scanning, faxing, answering telephones, etc).
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a very busy environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Extensive mobility and good physical condition.
  • Ability to walk property, including multiple flights of stairs, to complete physical inspections, deliver resident communications, and show apartments.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with residents, staff, supervisors, vendors, etc.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 60 lbs. to facilitate vacuuming, moving office furniture, and lifting supplies.
