Technology Position Summary:

Provide technical support toward the operation of district computer systems, programs, and networks.

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with network installations and configurations
  • Assist in computer replacement rollouts
  • Be familiar with multiple computer environments
  • Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with teachers and staff
  • Work effectively to prioritize helpdesk tickets and respond to issues in a timely manner
  • Work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Practice and exhibit quality workmanship, excellent work ethic and pride-in-ownership in the execution of all operating and maintenance duties including the proper care of all district property
  • Maintain a clean and safe district vehicle
  • Knowledge of standard of premise wiring practices along with safe drilling and ladder practices
  • Be meticulous in records keeping and documentation
  • Perform on-site and remote technical support related to assigned systems and their related systems
  • Assist in the organization and inventory of all related hardware and software resources
  • Maintain excellent communication with the Technology Director on all tasks and projects
  • Analyze equipment performance records in order to determine the need for repair or replacement
  • Diagnose hardware and software problems of related systems, and replace defective components
  • Work in conjunction with the Network team and Systems team
  • Maintain constant communication with vendors for warranty and repair items
  • Provide user account management in accordance with systems policies
  • Deliver and setup incoming equipment
  • Unbox, inventory, and enroll Chromebooks
  • Adhere to all policies of the District
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned by the Technology Director or Assistant Technology Director and other central office administrators, as designated by the Superintendent

Qualifications:

Previous experience in technology.

Contract Days: 250
