Overview: This is an onsite position in beautiful Sarasota, Fl.

Now, onto the nitty-gritty:

GENERAL SUMMARY: The Medical Investigator will investigate, analyze, collaborate with clients, and determine the extent of third-party liability to pursue subrogation from appropriate parties who are legally responsible for damages and move accounts over to our Medical Investigator Specialist for further review.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Investigative Function - Research claims as investigative support for the company to maximize profits of each account worked:
  • Determine if a case has third party liability potential
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external contacts to determine account liability
  • Assign file to a Medical Investigator Specialist after detailing investigation claims
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with professional telephone manner.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to manage correspondence and reports.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to manage confidential information.
  • Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience

  • High School diploma or GED
