SUMMARY:

Baskerville-Donovan, Inc. is currently seeking a Survey CADD Technician to join our team in our Pensacola, FL office. This person must be proficient in AutoCad, Civil 3D and capable of completing survey drawings start to finish. BDI is a regional engineering consultancy firm with a reputation for technical excellence on some of the most prominent and challenging projects across the Panhandle of Florida. We serve several sectors including water, civil, coastal, transportation, and surveying. Our mission is to make a difference in the life of the communities we serve.


ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop detailed survey designs with AutoCad/Civil 3D.
  • Perform public records research (deeds, plats, maps, data sheets, etc.)
  • Daily interaction with field personnel to acquire notes and data and monitor progress
  • Maintain records in software systems.
Requirements:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Proficient in AutoCad Civil 3D
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word
  • Proficient communication skills required to interact with clients and employees.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in writing and reading legal descriptions.
  • Time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work

BDI provides planning, surveying, engineering and design, and construction phase services for infrastructure projects in the United States. The company offers water resources engineering services, including wastewater treatment and collection systems design, water supply and treatment systems design, water distribution systems design and permitting, pipeline design, pump station design and rehabilitation, feasibility studies and planning, construction administration, and environmental permitting. It also provides transportation engineering services, including transportation planning, highway engineering, airfield design, traffic engineering, highway lighting, surveying and mapping, bridge design, storm water design, environmental permitting, real property support, construction administration, and public involvement. In addition, the company offers civil engineering, land surveying and mapping, and funding assistance services.
