North American Renewables, Inc., is seeking a Project Manager to join our growing Solar EPC team

The PM typically has a minimum of 5 years of project management experience in constructing photovoltaic systems. With advanced problem-solving skills and delegation of tasks, the PM will manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Plan, budget, manage and complete PV projects of higher complexity.
    • Review contract documents and proposals to identify project requirements. Develop a project plan to meet requirements.
    • Provide input into the design of the projects from a construction standpoint
    • Coordinate permitting activities with local authorities
    • Determine appropriate schedule for material buyouts and coordinate purchases and logistics with Procurement Department.
    • Manage subcontractor buyout process through development of scopes, bidding process and subcontractor awards and contract activities.
    • Create or review all subcontracts, Purchase Orders and Change Orders for completeness and accuracy.
    • Ensure all RFI's and Submittals are being completed in a timely manner through check in with the responsible parties.
    • At project close out, ensure all deliverables have been met, documentation has been archived and review lessons learned.
    • Act as primary single point of contact for the customer.
    • Provide clear and accurate communications to the customer, North American Renewables (NAR) management and other key stakeholders during the project.

  • Lead diverse teams of individuals to accomplish required outcomes.
    • Provide leadership for a strong safety performance throughout the project.
    • Work with field personnel to ensure the quality of delivered systems and conformance to NAR standards and the contract documents.
    • Deliver projects within the established budget. Support value engineering to reduce costs in labor, materials, and equipment.
    • Deliver projects within the established schedule. Lead efforts to reduce project duration and increase velocity without sacrificing other outcomes.
    • Actively participate in reviews of actual versus estimated costs to provide feedback and control the cost of the project.
    • Ensure that the scope requirements are met.

  • Support Senior Project Managers on more complex projects.
    • Manage assigned larger portions of work and provide clear status reports to primary Senior Project Manager.
    • Support value engineering and project schedule improvements.

  • Support department and company improvements efforts.
    • Be an active participant in department and company initiatives.
    • Support sales activities with estimates, schedules, contract review and client communications.
  • Other duties as assigned.
