Job Summary: The Warehouse Helper assists with the efficient flow of goods within a warehouse. This includes receiving, storing, and organizing product, as well as preparing orders for shipment. This position operates warehouse equipment, maintains inventory accuracy, and ensures the warehouse is clean and safe.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and Storing Goods: Assist in receiving incoming merchandise and verifying its quality and quantity.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring items are stored in their correct locations.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods from trucks or containers using warehouse equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Order Preparation: Pack, wrap, label, and prepare orders for shipment.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean and organized, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing merchandise.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Key Skills Required:

  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in inventory management and order preparation.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to handle physically demanding tasks.
  • Team Player: Collaborating effectively with colleagues and following instructions from leads.
  • Ability to operate warehouse machinery such as a forklift and pallet jack.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able and willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to use fingers to grasp, move, or assemble.
  • Regularly bend, stoop and crouch.
  • Frequently lift and move heavy objects, often up to 50 lbs.

Monday _ Thursday 5:00 am - 3:00 pm
