Responsibilities:

CMA: CMA or RMA certification required

  • Working as a valued member of our clinical care team (Providers, RN, LPN, Lab Tech, Lactation Consultant, CMA, RMA) providing quality care to our pediatric patients/families watching our patients grow through their milestones.
  • Rooming and/or intake process, collecting data, including vital signs, height, weight, vision, hearing, and data related to patient's reason for visit;
  • Gathering patient and family data, including medical and social history;
  • Reviews patient's current medication list, allergies and preferred pharmacy;
  • Assists the provider as directed, during treatments, examinations and procedures;
  • Administers vaccinations under the direction of a provider;
  • Collects specimens, performs phlebotomy, and performs basic lab testing;
  • Reviews the patient record to determine whether patient requires any routine health screenings;
  • Provides patient with after-visit, follow-up, self-care or procedural instructions and/or educational materials as directed by provider.

RN / LPN: RN, LPN, LVN license required; BLS certification preferred

  • Manage provider's patient schedule and flow
  • Administration of vaccines, medications and other injections
  • Laboratory testing and procedures
  • Telephone triage advice
  • Collaborate with specialist, hospitals and other external entities to coordinate patient care
