Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Documentation: Calculate, design, and produce AutoCAD and Revit files for MEP engineering needs, focusing on HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical systems across various building types.
  • Project Management: Lead projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet client expectations. Responsibilities include establishing schedules, assigning resources, and monitoring project performance.
  • Field Support & Review: Provide review of mechanical design submittals and conduct site visits as necessary to address issues, conflicts, or questions.
  • Client Interaction & Business Development: Generate and present project updates to internal and external audiences. Build and maintain relationships with clients, working towards developing new business opportunities.


Requirements
  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in HVAC or Plumbing Design and Project Management. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Licensure: Current PE License (Professional Engineer).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is required. Familiarity with HVAC modeling programs such as TRACE700, CHVAC7.0, and/or AIRMaster is highly desirable.
  • Sector Experience: Experience designing HVAC/plumbing systems for commercial, multifamily, educational, healthcare, and institutional buildings.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management: Proven experience managing projects of varying sizes and complexity.
  • Advanced Technical Skills: Expertise in HVAC modeling programs like TRACE700, CHVAC7.0, and AIRMaster.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with subcontractors, project owners, and team members.
