Job Description

The Manager of paid Social is the day-to-day steward of paid social media for assigned brands and is responsible for leading campaign development, activation, and innovation. The Manager is expected to apply social mastery to deliver against the client(s) goals. They will work closely with their associate director to develop and communicate all strategies while owning tactical execution. In addition, the Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Social Analyst(s), including project management, to ensure timely tasks and career development.
 

Role Objectives:

  • Develop yearly, quarterly, or program strategic tactical plans based on business goals. This involves developing KPIs, Partner Selection, and unconventional ideas.
  • Responsible for data analysis for yearly/quarterly brand reports, ad-hoc requests, and media POVs
  • QA and oversee trafficking of approved plans into social platforms.
  • Maintain oversight of budget and billing activity (pacing, Prisma management, draft billing, budget accuracy vs. strategy flowcharts).
  • Manage the client relationship with day-to-day contacts and partner agencies (where applicable) by ensuring a seamless communication process.
  • Own communications and partnerships with vendors
  • Develop and recommend optimizations and testing plans.
  • Proactively identify areas of improvement in the team's processes and agendas.
  • People’s management: educate and train junior team to handle day-to-day tasks
  • Oversee analyst’s management of campaign budgets, pacing, and bid adjustments.
  • Maintain communication with Associate Director and Director on day-to-day account
  • Work closely with the Analytics and Brand Experience team
  • Project manage custom work with different partners, such as filters, AR, etc.
Qualifications

  • 3+ years of paid social media experience, ideally in an agency environment.
  • Mastery of social platforms. Demonstrated expertise in core MS Excel functions (vlookup, pivot tables, data visualization).
  • Understanding of analytics and data interpretation.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Presentation design and presentation skills are a must.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent project management and organization skills.
  • Ability to work successfully with teams on multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Proven leadership ability.
  • Collaborative approach/attitude.
  • Certifications on social platforms (Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, and Pinterest) are highly preferred.
  • Genuine interest in the digital media space and enjoys staying up to date on industry trends  
  • Experience using paid media to complement earned media campaigns and meet business objectives
