Registered Occupational Therapist

The Registered Occupational Therapist provides evaluation and, treatment for inpatients, outpatients and ARU patients, and updates physicians and other healthcare personnel as needed. The Registered Occupational Therapist is responsible for meeting and maintaining established medical and testing protocols.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accountable and responsible for determining and providing treatment based on physicians diagnosis and evaluation. As care progresses evaluation continues in communication and collaboration with physicians.
- Keeps informed of patient needs by conferring with other staff and outside personnel related to the patients care to ensure treatment is modified as needed.
- Accurately reports information to members of the department team and other members of Washington Health System in order that they may intervene to provide adequate and appropriate care.
- Completes and demonstrates competency in all technical skills and patient care procedures as delegated according to established Washington Health System Core Physical Therapist Skills & Responsibilities.
Shift: Day, 8AM-4:30PM.
Hours: 8-20 hours a week
