Scope of the Role

The Senior Channel Compliance Manager spearheads comprehensive compliance initiatives while leading the strategic implementation of account health frameworks across partner Channels. This pivotal role entails orchestrating collaboration across diverse teams within the organization to uphold compliance standards and execute strategies efficiently. Additionally, the Senior Channel Compliance Manager will lead by example, fostering a culture of accountability and operational excellence within the organization.

Reporting Structure

Reporting directly to the Director of Channel Operations and Partner Management, the Senior Channel Compliance Manager assumes a crucial position within the Channel Partnership Management and Operations team. This role collaborates extensively with key cross-functional departments across the organization.

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive audits of the Product Catalog to ensure alignment with channel platform policies.
  • Formulate and oversee strategies for addressing issues related to counterfeiting, copyright infringement, and competitor compliance, closely collaborating with legal counterparts to establish robust enforcement policies.
  • Monitor various channel metrics, including Order Defect Rate, Late Shipment Rate, Cancel Rate, Policy and Product Compliance notifications, SFP metrics, and Voice of Customer feedback, ensuring compliance across all channels.
  • Proactively monitor and respond to all health-related notices from each Channel platform.
  • Manage and resolve health-related tickets and issues within each portal, devising and executing Plans of Action (POAs) when necessary.
  • Oversee product listings, leveraging reviews, Voice of Customer feedback, and policy violation reports to maintain compliance, escalating issues to relevant teams for resolution.
  • Strategize, build, and lead an offshore team to ensure comprehensive monitoring of each Channel platform, optimizing resource allocation and operational efficiency while maintaining alignment with organizational objectives and compliance standards.
  • Identify and troubleshoot potential issues that may impact our listings, metrics, or selling privileges, taking proactive measures to mitigate risks.
  • Foster cross-departmental communication with Product Developers, Product Quality, Catalog Management, Category Managers, Legal, and other relevant teams to ensure ongoing compliance with Channel Metrics across all selling partners.
  • Take ownership of identifying and resolving additional issues that could hinder our ability to list or sell products on each Channel platform.
  • Advocate for necessary changes within Channel Partners' compliance policies, engaging with each partner to highlight issues and drive improvements.
  • Lead a team, promoting a collaborative and high-performance culture, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure team members meet and exceed individual and collective goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred or relevant work experience
  • 5+ years of marketplace compliance
  • 4+ years of direct work experience with Amazon Seller Central, Walmart.com, Targert.com or other Marketplace Channels
  • Experience with Amazon Account Health
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and implementing organizational policies and procedures.
  • Proven track record of effective and collaborative communication, ensuring timely responses to meet project deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all managerial endeavors.
  • Exhibits sound judgment and unwavering commitment to ethical standards in managerial decision-making.
  • Jira and Confluence Experience Preferred
