TAP is seeking to hire a Senior Network Engineer to join our team If you are a highly motivated engineer who enjoys a challenging and dynamic environment where your contributions are both critical and valued, this company will provide you the tools and opportunity to thrive.
The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for analyzing, designing, installing, configuring, maintaining, and repairing network infrastructure and application components, as well as providing direction and recommendations regarding network configurations and installations. The ideal candidate will assist in the design and development of complex multi-server environments based on VMware virtual servers.
Required Qualifications:
- Active TS (with SCI eligibility)
- BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related technical field
- At least two (2) current advanced level professional certifications in Microsoft Network Design/Administration or Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, CCDA, etc.) or Microsoft Certified System Administrator, VMWare Advanced Professional
- 7+ years of experience in network administration
- 3+ years of experience as a computer systems designer, understanding the configuration and administration of Microsoft network systems and Linux systems.
- Proficiency in specific network communication techniques (DNS, IP Routing, HTTP, VPN, Firewalls, Email routing, Load Balancing, COOP redundancies, etc.).
- Understanding of FISMA security requirements.
- Ability to configure and integrate application servers, fileservers, storage area network devices, firewalls, hubs, routers, and switches.
- Ability to identify technical problems, research and define solutions, and implement in a timely manner with minimal oversight
- Technical writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in working with applicable network devices to include repeaters, bridges, routers, gateways, and hubs.
- Working knowledge of virtualized, networked environments, specifically VMWare and HyperV based systems
- Experience with security COTS product integration (e.g., firewall, web gateways, Data Loss Prevention)
- Experience working on Cloud-Edge connectivity solutions
- Experience with AWS and Azure
Clearance Requirement: This position requires ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance, based on current background investigation (SBI). Clearance processing will be completed by the U.S. Government. Factors considered for a U.S. Government Security Clearance include, but are not limited to:

- Education Verification
- Abuse/Illegal Drug Use
- Credit Check
- Subject Interview
