Job Title: Senior Network Unified Communications Design Engineer

CoSolutions, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Unified Communications Design Engineer to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Senior Network Unified Communications Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing complex network communication systems for our clients. This includes evaluating and designing communication hardware and software, troubleshooting network-related problems, and developing and integrating identity and access management requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement network communication systems for clients
  • Evaluate and design communication hardware and software
  • Troubleshoot network-related problems
  • Develop and integrate identity and access management requirements
  • Support engineering and design of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services
  • Design and integrate new and existing VoIP servers, switches, routers, and other equipment
  • Manage hardware, software, network, and scheduling required for end-users to conduct videoconferences
  • Integrate with standard Active Directory services and use Windows Light Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) services for network devices and appliances
  • Perform Rights Management Services for administrators, users, and groups
  • Develop customized multivendor solutions utilizing Cisco, Juniper, Brocade, and other vendor technologies
  • Develop, update, track, and perform Internet Protocol (IP) scheme and address management
Requirements:
  • 10 years of experience in network communication design and implementation
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Secret Clearance
  • IASAE II certification
  • Experience with performance, design, configuration, and testing of complex large-scale computer networks
  • Experience with Domain Name Server (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP)
  • ITIL version 3 Foundation certification
  • Professional-level certifications in one or more technology-related vendor solutions
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to walk to various locations as needed
  • Ability to bend and navigate to perform assigned duties
  • Ability to travel by all forms of transportation 5% of time
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed for the job
