About the Position

The airport seeks a General Maintenance Worker I to join one of our vital front line teams. This crew member participates in the upkeep of all airport and airfield facilities. Typical job duties include:

  • Landscaping and mowing
  • Installation, maintenance and repair of pavements, fences, gates and doors
  • Drywall and painting
  • Cleaning of grounds and building
  • Lifting and moving of furniture, equipment, bags of chemicals and other products
  • Operating industrial vehicles
  • Light construction
  • Snow removal

Strong candidates will exhibit a willingness to learn, previous maintenance experience, excellent communication skills, basic computer skills, and work well with others.

Compensation

This position starts at $19.50/hour

Schedule

This position works four 10-hour shifts a week (Monday through Thursday, or Tuesday through Friday 6am – 4:30pm) and rotates approximately once a quarter. All Maintenance staff are also on call for emergencies and snow removal.
