Job Description:
Our client is seeking a full-time Probate Paralegal with at least 4 years of probate and trust administration experience to join our Estate and Succession Planning Group.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Draft and file pleadings for summary, formal and ancillary administrations.
- Draft and file probate documents such as petitions, inventories, and accountings.
- Manage estate inventories and ensure accurate documentation of assets and liabilities.
- Prepare estate and gift tax returns.
- Possess an extensive working knowledge of Florida Guardianship, probate, and trust laws.
- Organize and maintain case files, oversee case calendars, and monitor crucial deadlines. Provide regular updates to attorneys on case progress.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of client information and handle sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion.
- Other projects and general administrative duties, as assigned by supervisors.

- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all work products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and attorneys.
- Ability to work independently and proactively, while also being a team player.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree and/or completion of an accredited paralegal program.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience working as a paralegal in probate.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and PDF.
- In-depth knowledge of probate procedures and trust administration.
- Proficient in drafting legal documents and using relevant software and databases.
