Village Handcrafted Cabinetry is a leading custom cabinet manufacturer with over 25 years of industry experience. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality products and exceptional service to our clients. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented Sales Representative/Business Development Manager to expand our reach into new and existing markets.

  • Identify, establish and maintain referral relationships with industry partners (Such as architects, builders, kitchen & bath designers, interior designers)
  • Maintain relationships with existing VHC trade partners.
  • Be a subject matter expert in all products offered by VHC
  • Perform product demonstrations at showroom and to agents in field
  • Maintain sales data in CRM
  • Present and promote Village Handcrafted Cabinetry's offerings to build lasting partnerships.
  • Cultivate robust relationships with clients and suppliers for long-term collaboration.
  • Conduct thorough market research to uncover growth opportunities.
  • Coordinate with the Marketing department to align strategies.
  • Oversee product line evolution to meet market demands.
  • Create tailored proposals to address client needs.
  • Provide consistent sales support for client satisfaction.
  • Spearhead events as well as attend industry events to stay updated on trends.
  • Develop sales forecasts.
  • Demonstrate strong time management, multitasking, sales and customer service skills.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and technical expertise.

SKILLS & DUTIES


  • Travel within territory to identify and pursue new sales leads effectively, pitch company goods and services persuasively, and negotiate deals to drive revenue growth.
  • Conduct cold calls

  • Review prospect sales lists and determine viable strategy to convert prospect into customer
  • Strong interpersonal skills to cultivate and maintain robust relationships with both new and existing clients and suppliers.

  • Thorough understanding of Village Handcrafted Cabinetry's products, as well as the ability to articulate their features and benefits to clients.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate ideas, negotiate deals, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate market data, assess business opportunities, and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions, business priorities, and client needs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to manage sales processes and track client interactions.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and senior management, to align business development initiatives with overall company objectives.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing, Economics or a related field is preferred
  • Proficiency in familiarity with essential software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and statistical analysis software.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in business development, sales, or related roles. High end custom cabinetry sales experience a plus.
  • Strong understanding of product development, market dynamics, and industry competition.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self- starter
  • Able to overcome sales objections
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
