Job Description

Are you a talented Senior Product Designer with a knack for organizational skills, branding experience, and a deep understanding of design systems? Forbes Advisor invites you to join our team. If you have a passion for crafting user experiences that empower people to make informed decisions, then we're excited to have you on our radar.

In this role, you'll dive into exciting Forbes Advisor projects, from brainstorming ideas to researching user needs and collaborating closely with product owners. We need someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, adept at juggling various tasks while keeping the user at the heart of it all. If you're intrigued by concepts like consumer psychology, digital marketing, user insights, and enhancing product functionality, your expertise is a valuable asset. Extensive experience with design systems is also highly desirable for this role.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Dedicated to creating products that genuinely assist users, guided by ethical design principles.
  • Design choices exude confidence, and you communicate your reasoning effectively to others.
  • Able to possess a strong understanding of design systems, ensuring consistency and scalability across projects.
  • Excel at creating and maintaining design system components, documentation, and guidelines.
  • Be highly organized, capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines efficiently.
  • Decision-making process is data-driven, and you are well-versed in user testing.
  • Able to blend aesthetics with functionality, collaborating seamlessly with design systems and teams.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality design work.
  • Open to diverse perspectives and believe in the potential for innovative ideas from any source.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute growth initiative
  • Advocate for user needs through research and usability testing
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices

 

About You

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Design, UI/UX, and digital design.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to solve problems
  • Capable of driving vision and change in established domains
  • Skilled at simplifying complex workflows into intuitive design solution
  • Adaptable to a range of design tasks including branding, visuals, and UI/UX, you're a versatile artist.
  • Your familiarity with user testing, research, and A/B testing showcases your comprehensive skill set.
  • Your grasp of growth design is evident, and if you've previously excelled in a similar capacity, that's a definite advantage.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, branding experience, and a strong understanding of design systems are a must.
  • A robust portfolio showcasing exceptional problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail in crafting user-centric designs that drive positive outcomes.
