BASIC FUNCTION (the primary purpose of this position):

Greet, interact and transport guest too and from designated locations in a safe and professional manner.


PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Promote a clean, safe, healthy and friendly work environment for employees and guests; report and direct safety issues to Safety Committee
  • Safely transport guest too and from the Casino and designated locations, or as directed, in a professional manor.
  • Pre/Post trip shuttle vehicle, using department form, and report any discrepancies to Transportation Management.
  • Fuel shuttle vehicle.
  • Record number of guest transported during shift.
  • Have knowledge of and promote The Mill Casino • Hotel & RV Park's upcoming events and dining options through verbal and written communication.
  • Provide guests with requested information or directions.
  • Respond to guest questions and maintain knowledge of local area and events.
  • Assist guests with luggage/baggage for transportation to and from the casino/hotel.
  • Assist guests on and off shuttle.
  • Keep exterior and interior of shuttle clean.
  • Other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS (objective educational or technical training required; skills; and years of experience):


  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must have a valid Oregon driver license. CDL (Class 2) is preferred
  • Proven track record of excellent guest service skills.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to work in team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must meet current Federal DOT regulations regarding drug and alcohol testing.
  • Must pass and remain in compliance with Coquille Gaming Commission background check and drug free work place policies
