As a Transportation Shuttle Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of shuttle vehicles, ensuring the smooth transport of passengers.


Compensation:
$12.00 per hour plus tips (not included in the range)

Employee Benefits:

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness of shuttle interiors, refuel vehicles, log trip counts, and assist passengers with disabilities.

Ensure punctuality and adherence to uniform standards for every scheduled shift.

Possess and carry a valid state-issued driver's license at all times while on duty.

Maintain an acceptable driving record with the DMV.

Provide courteous assistance to customers by addressing inquiries and directing them to the Facility Manager when necessary.


Report any known accidents, observed or suspected violations of company policy, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager.

Communicate any debris, water, or oil spills to the garage office.

Substitute for Cashiers or Valets when authorized and necessary.


Have comprehensive knowledge of the garage area, including major streets, landmarks, and freeways.

Assist customers with luggage and other travel items, particularly in airport locations.

Support the Facility Manager with additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:

Requirements:
To succeed in this role, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The qualifications listed below represent the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.

Education/Experience:

Less than a high school education or one month of related experience, training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


License Requirement:
Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license with a current address and acceptable driving record.

DOT Medical Card:
A Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card) is mandatory.

Availability:
Shift requirements may vary based on the hiring needs of the location. Availability for 3rd shift and/or weekends may be necessary.

Language Proficiency:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one situations to customers and other employees.

Mathematical Skills:
Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with whole numbers and currency.

Professional Appearance:

Employees are expected to maintain a neat and clean appearance and be in complete uniform at all times.
