The Ideal Candidate Should Possess the Following Experience:- Perform data collection and statistical analysis to improve quality for internal processes and suppliers, lead corrective actions, and support problem-solving initiatives like Six-Sigma.
- Provide expertise in the deployment of quality assurance and control programs and systems.
- Verify product adherence to government regulations and standards, including ISO, DOD Specifications, Technical Data Packages, and ASTM.
- Begin the Certificate of Conformity process for new products.
- Offer specialized knowledge in quality system compliance, tailored to customer-specific needs and products.
- Coordinate PPAP and Validations for new and revised products, compile reports, and create procedure manuals.
- Conduct quality engineering reviews of design documentation to ensure compliance with requirements, including customer and company quality records.
- Work with Technicians and Project Engineer to define and review dimensional inspection processes, including R&D and Prototype testing.
- Utilize statistical process control (SPC) methods to analyze data and assess current and new processes, using tools like Minitab and Excel.
- Engage with customers to address quality issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Employ a structured problem-solving approach, including defining problems, collecting and analyzing data, identifying escalation points, and recommending solutions.
- Maintain and update quality instructions for manufacturing processes and conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Support the company's Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Provide engineering services and guidance to industrial engineering tasks related to control, monitoring, and measurement of casting processes.
Salary Range: $75,000 to $120,000 (commensurate on experience)
