As the Lead Residential Aide, you will be responsible for supporting and assisting in the supervision of the Residential Aides in a residential addiction recovery environment. You will also be handling and serving residents in a manner conducive to their safety, security, and comfort. You will assist in establishing and maintaining a therapeutic environment and routine. You will serve as a resource for the team members and provide team leadership.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED (General Equivalency Diploma)
  • Valid Driver’s license

Preferred:

  • Previous leadership role (preferred)
  • Associates degree in a human services field (preferred)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support, guidance, and direction in daily operations and training to team members, including making schedules, setting performance standards, and monitoring performance in collaboration with the Residential Aid Manager.
  • Observe and assure adherence with Recovery House Rules. Monitor residential staff in accordance with house rules. 
  • Coordinate transportation if patients to and from treatment /outpatient treatment. 
  • Monitor facility needs and report maintenance requests per procedure. 
  • Encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and a cohesive work environment for all team members. 
  • Comply with organizational policies, procedures, and performance improvement initiatives. 
  • Ensure and uphold the confidentiality requirements of all client/patient information and manage all daily tasks and activities consistent with HIPAA, the 42 CFR part 2, and state and federal laws and regulations regarding confidentiality and security. 
  • Be present and engaged in meetings and required training opportunities. 
  • Work in Conjunction with the Residential aid Manager to ensure the following: 
  • Ensure the management and storage of client/patient property. 
  • Manage client/patient concessions petty cash balances as necessary/required. 
  • Ensure the safety and supervision of all clients/patients at all levels of services. 
  • Manage accuracy of electronic medical record census. 
  • Understand and be able to perform all aspects of the Residential Aide position. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
