YOUR DAY AS A PARTS DISTRIBUTION SUPERVISOR

As a Parts Distribution Supervisor, you ensure that client commitments for spare and wear parts orders are consistently met. You meticulously plan and coordinate logistics to guarantee timely and accurate delivery. By closely monitoring delivery dates, you promptly address issues to uphold client promises. You manage and secure inventory for manufacturing and procured items, providing ongoing updates to clients regarding their order status and any deviations. You prioritize client deliveries, collaborate effectively with Procurement, Stores, and ML teams, and make well-informed decisions considering customer impact. Punctuality and reliability are key, as you are expected to arrive on time and fulfill additional management responsibilities as required.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PARTS DISTRIBUTION SUPERVISOR

  • High school diploma, although more education is a plus
  • 3+ years of experience in customer service, manufacturing, or supply chain
  • Proficient in English
  • Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong leadership skills, both inside and outside the company
  • Effective collaboration skills used to achieve common goals
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to make effective and creative decisions within company guidelines
  • Knowledge of additional languages (preferred)
  • Experience using SAP or similar ERP system (strongly preferred)
