MGS has an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Representative to join our team. As a Human Resources Representative, you will assist with hiring and administration supporting the needs of the Human Resources Department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Screens and interviews entry-level production positions to meet the requirements for the position.
  • Maintains and updates job postings and candidate information in ATS.
  • Completes reference checks, background check, pre-employment drug screening, and sets up candidates in ADP.
  • Conducts new employee HR orientation in compliance with all company procedures and policies.
  • Manage contract labor staffing and day to day activities and metrics in accordance with temporary hiring needs.
  • Provide employee assistance to employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs and helps to enforce them.
  • Coordinates recognition programs and communication center announcements.
  • Performs exit interviews for employees, process termination checklists, and appropriate paperwork.
  • Manage all administrative aspects of workers' compensation claims.
  • Prepares and maintains OSHA logs, tracks lost time goals and safety metrics.
  • Ensure that HIPAA and Employee Privacy guidelines are closely monitored and effectively executed.
  • Provide timely responses to Unemployment inquiries.
  • Assists with training records.
  • Maintain accuracy in record keeping systems.
  • Maintains confidential employee personnel, payroll, attendance, worker's compensation, and training files.
  • Interprets labor laws and administers correctly to ensure compliance.
  • Provide back up payroll administration coverage.
  • Any other duties and/or projects as assigned.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships.


  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required and a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources from a four-year college or university is preferred
  • Three to five years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Detail oriented, accurate and thorough, with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with management.
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with confidential information.
  • Demonstrated problem solving, time management, and priority setting skills.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
